Security Officer Entry Management
About the role
Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and support employees and visitors with exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and documenting security-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate visitor logs, badge records, and access activity reports in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal standards.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, offices, loading areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity and report security-related issues.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
