Security Officer - Entry Control

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific policies, visitor management procedures, and Allied Universal protocols appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting patients, visitors, and staff, verifying credentials when appropriate, and documenting entries, exits, and other front desk activity.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Support security-related operations by observing lobby and reception area activity, reporting unusual behavior or concerns, and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
