Security Officer Entry Level Part Time

As a Security Officer Patrol Credentialing in Prince George, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-related areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting and reporting suspicious activity and/or access concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Support daily operations by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations, while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
