Security Officer - Entry Level - Overnights
About the role
As a Security Officer - Entry Level - Overnights in Maumee, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials where required, and support traffic flow for deliveries, employees, and/or guests in accordance with location policies.
- Observe equipment areas, materials storage spaces, and other restricted locations for security-related issues, and communicate maintenance, hazard, and/or operational concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
