Security Officer Entry Level Overnights Part Time

About the role

Award-winning Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver Part Time in Pulaski, VA. This position serves and safeguards clients in various industries including Manufacturing & Industrial.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and documenting security-related activity as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, shipping, receiving, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and screen visitors, deliveries, and/or vehicles entering and leaving the location in accordance with site protocols.
• Complete routine reports and communicate observations, maintenance concerns, and/or policy-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
