Security Officer - Entry Control Point

About the role

As a Security Officer - Entry Control Point in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, support visitor management, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening access at designated entry points, and supporting security-related protocols.
• Monitor entrances, exits, badges, and/or visitor logs to help control access to the location and report unusual activity or policy concerns to the appropriate contact.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post instructions and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Communicate with employees, guests, and/or vendors regarding access requirements, directions, and site rules while documenting security-related events and observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and/or controlled access areas, as assigned by the location.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
