Security Officer - Entry Control - Overnights

About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage production location in Fremont, OH, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will help deter incidents through a visible presence, clear communication, and professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Screen and document incoming and outgoing vehicles, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures and applicable food production requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, exterior areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$16.48 / hour

Schedule

• Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
