Security Officer - Entry Control

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will support an aerospace and defense location by conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points, deterring incidents through a visible presence, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, airfield-adjacent areas, parking lots, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, damaged property, hazards, and suspicious activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Pay

$12.73 / hour

Schedule

• Monday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
