Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and staff by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and other security-related policies at the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to shipping, receiving, dock, and warehouse areas.
- Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and delivery logs, report unusual activity, and support security-related documentation tied to facility access and movement.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to gates, fencing, trailer areas, parking areas, and other access-sensitive locations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
