Allied Universal® is North America’s leading security and facility services company. As a Security Officer – Entry Control in Monroe, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in manufacturing and industrial settings, providing customer service and maintaining a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel and delivery traffic according to site requirements.
• Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and designated industrial areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, access‑control exceptions, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific procedures.

Requirements

• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Experience in a primarily driving post (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screening as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.

Pay

$17.00 per hour.

Schedule

Daytime – Saturday 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Sunday 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Part‑time).
