Security Officer Entry Authorization Specialist

About the role
As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and assist with maintaining a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology and data infrastructure location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor and manage access to controlled areas by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, issuing access badges and/or passes, and following established entry and exit protocols.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Monitor access control systems, cameras, and communication equipment; document observations, incidents, and irregularities in required reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, access points, exterior areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
