What You'll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology and media location.
- Monitor entrances, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to post procedures.
- Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and/or incident documentation while communicating clearly with employees, guests, and site contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
