About the role
As a Security Officer Mobile Route Driver in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic entertainment and retail location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist guests and team members, and communicate clearly with site personnel. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
$19.60 / Hour
Schedule
- Monday: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Tuesday: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Thursday: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Friday: 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM
