Security Officer - Concert Venue Site

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier cultural institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to guests, staff, and performers. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to evolving needs, and support a positive environment through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, performers, staff, and visitors at a cultural venue by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of public areas, performance spaces, entrances, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report access concerns or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Friday: 05:30 AM – 03:30 PM
• Saturday: 05:30 AM – 03:30 PM
• Sunday: 05:30 AM – 03:30 PM
