Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing visitors, staff, and deliveries, verifying credentials when required, and documenting security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear and timely reports on patrol activity, incidents, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or local contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
