Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit-related buildings, platforms, parking areas, offices, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vehicle activity, and follow post instructions for restricted areas, deliveries, and/or public-facing spaces.
• Aid with crowd management, directional support, and general public assistance during routine operations, service interruptions, special events, and/or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
