Security Officer - Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a premier retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and sharing information with management and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity, policy concerns, and/or maintenance issues.
• Monitor entrances, high-traffic areas, and delivery zones to help support orderly operations, assist with directions, and report suspicious behavior, unauthorized activity, and/or security-related concerns.
• Support loss prevention and property protection efforts by observing customer and employee activity, following post orders, and escalating incidents involving theft, trespassing, and/or disorderly conduct.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
