Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and assist with directing foot traffic in a high-visibility commercial location.
- Support day-to-day operations by preparing reports, noting maintenance or policy concerns, and relaying security-related information to supervisors and/or client representatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
