Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting staff, visitors, and residents with professionalism and respect.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entry points, and perimeter spaces, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor access to the location by observing arrivals and departures, verifying authorized entry, and reporting unauthorized or concerning activity according to site guidelines.
• Document incidents, policy-related concerns, and/or daily activity in required reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
