Schedule

Day/Time: Tuesday, 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours one week and full-time the next—it’s up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access screening requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, and permitted belongings entering designated areas in accordance with site policies, escalating prohibited items, irregularities, and access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Verify identification, visitor authorization, and delivery credentials; maintain accurate screening-related logs and documentation as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, screening areas, business spaces, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
