Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Perform screening-related duties for people, packages, freight, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location, following established post orders and reporting concerns to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations in accordance with site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including shipping, receiving, warehouse, and perimeter areas, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Support logistics and distribution operations by monitoring access points, verifying credentials and/or shipment information, and helping to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and routine observation.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
