Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screening Standards

As a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Columbus, OH, you’ll have a fixed base schedule with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts for increased earnings and experience.

Daytime
Tuesday: 01:45 PM - 08:00 PM

This role requires a six (6) month commitment to a designated site and weekly shift. You may also pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to adjust your hours—work part-time one week and full-time the next, with the option to scale back as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals and authorized items entering designated areas in accordance with site-specific access procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
