Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions appropriate to the location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with site policies and established screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, screening areas, loading and shipping zones, and perimeter, with duties varying based on location conditions and operational needs.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
