Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a cruise operations location.
• Screen passengers, visitors, crew members, and/or personal items in accordance with post procedures and applicable access protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
• Monitor entry points, help to deter unauthorized access, and support orderly movement of people through designated screening areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while observing for unusual activity and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
