Pay Rate
$18.50 / Hour
Job Schedule
Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.
- Screen guests, bags, packages, and personal items in accordance with post orders and location policies, while maintaining a courteous and professional presence.
- Monitor entry points and assist with directing visitor flow, verifying credentials when required, and reporting unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and supporting security-related response efforts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned indoor and outdoor areas, including public spaces, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
