Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including halls, waiting areas, entrances, parking areas, and the outer perimeter as assigned.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, loitering, and/or disruptive behavior while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support staff and visitors with directions, assistance requests, and other security-related concerns while following Allied Universal post orders and site expectations.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
