Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and communicate with site contacts regarding deliveries, contractor access, and other security-related matters.
• Support loss prevention and property protection efforts by observing equipment, materials, and restricted areas, and reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
