Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or site personnel by following security-related procedures, location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including operational areas, loading zones, rail-adjacent areas, and perimeter access points, as assigned.
- Monitor entrances, gates, and/or restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support access control procedures for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Document daily activities, observed conditions, and/or incidents, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
