Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of people, vehicles, and/or deliveries entering and leaving the location, following post orders for verification, visitor processing, and reporting of irregular activity.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing loading and unloading areas, checking for unsecured doors and/or gates, and communicating maintenance or security-related issues discovered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
