$20.28 / Hour
Job Schedule
Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols and assigned post orders.
- Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations observed during patrols or routine activities, and follow escalation procedures as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
