Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting relevant details through site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor processes, and support access control practices for staff, guests, deliveries, and service personnel.
- Communicate with site contacts, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed, and assist with incident follow-up, directional assistance, and other security-related support duties.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
