Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Inspector

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and sharing information with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, assisting with access control processes, visitor direction, and other security-related support functions aligned with site expectations.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with staff and the public, following post orders, and reporting maintenance, security-related, and/or operational concerns through appropriate channels.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
