Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Inspection

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation as directed, and maintain accurate logs of visitors, vehicles, and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Observe and report security-related concerns, hazards, damaged property, or policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay and Schedule

Pay Rate: $16.40 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime, Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
