Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues through the proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the property, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, lobbies, and other assigned areas while assisting with visitor directions, policy reminders, and other security-related support needs.
- Support property operations by communicating with building management and/or first responders when needed and completing required reports before the end of the shift.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

About the Role
This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
