How This Role Works

Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocol.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer traffic, observe for suspicious behavior, and document security-related incidents, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns for follow-up by site leadership.
• Support access control and closing procedures, assist with crowd management during busy periods, and provide clear directions and information to the public as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
