Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify potential concerns and support site protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or contractor access as directed by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized activity within the location.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance when needed, and communicating clearly with personnel regarding security-related matters.

Requirements

• Security-related experience of 6+ months is required.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
