Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at public transportation locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, administrative buildings, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, public areas, and restricted locations, assist with directing foot traffic, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or policy violations.
• Support a professional presence at government-operated transportation facilities by following post orders, assisting with customer concerns, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or suspicious activity concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• One or more years of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Pepeler spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
