Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Foot Patrol

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as required, and report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

The pay rate for this position is $19.50 per hour.

Schedule

The job schedule is daytime, Friday, 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, with a six-month commitment to a fixed shift. There is also the opportunity to pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
