Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Foot Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, support visitor processing, and follow post orders and client-directed protocols.
• Aid with security-related incident reporting, shift activity logs, and/or communication with local responders or designated personnel when situations require additional support.

Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age.
• At least 3 years of security-related experience, or law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Security-related experience.
• Law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification.
• Access control and/or badge experience.
