Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while communicating observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and reporting access-control concerns according to site procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
