How This Role Works
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Monitor visitor access, verify credentials, issue passes as directed, and maintain front desk logs for employees, guests, and vendors.
- Answer questions, provide directions, and support a professional lobby experience while helping to address concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations by following post orders and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Observe lobby and reception area activity, support access control measures, and help to deter unauthorized entry within the location.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
