Life doesn’t always follow a fixed schedule. That’s why we created the Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.
How This Role Works
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor visitor access at the front desk, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain entry records, and communicate with staff regarding arrivals, deliveries, and guest assistance.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Answer phones, provide directions, support sign-in and sign-out processes, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence and consistent policy application.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Schedule
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Pay Rate: $18.30 / Hour

Qualifications
Preference is given to those who possess a valid driver's license for driving positions only.
Skills
Security-related experience, computer skills, access control and badge experience, and ability to work independently and under pressure are preferred.
