Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
• Support daily operations by completing assigned reports, communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and following post instructions for unarmed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
