Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts")

This role requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

How This Role Works

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, and assist with directing guests and/or staff in accordance with location rules and posted procedures.
• Support retail operations by addressing customer questions, reporting maintenance or security-related issues, and communicating with local management and/or emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
