Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology, media, or telecommunications location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting procedures.
- Document visitor activity, deliveries, and/or unusual incidents, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe conditions, support access control operations, and report security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements
- A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
