Job Schedule
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery access in accordance with post orders and facility guidelines.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Help to deter unauthorized access and other security-related concerns by observing activity at gates, doors, and assigned access points throughout the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to identify unusual conditions, report maintenance or security-related issues, and support a controlled access environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
