Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to management and/or local authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and help to support authorized entry procedures for the location.
- Aid in emergency situations, alarms, and medical or fire-related events by following post orders and communicating with tenants, first responders, and/or supervisors.
Minimum Requirements
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
Qualifications
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Participation in industry-specific security training programs is required.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Skills
None specifically listed, but strong customer service skills, ability to respond calmly to emergencies, and knowledge of security protocols are essential.
