How This Role Works

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions, hazards, and/or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, assisting with directions, entry procedures, and/or escalation of concerns when needed.
• Support a professional environment by documenting incidents, completing routine reports, and communicating clearly with site contacts, coworkers, and/or first responders during security-related events.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
