Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with store leadership and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with incident response, and following post orders and local laws regarding armed assignments.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
