As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control in Monroe, MI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or approved access, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
- Screen and document visitors, contractors, deliveries, and/or vehicles in accordance with site policies for an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to established procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, operational areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
Minimum Requirements
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
